my gout attacks stopped after taking 300mg of Allonpurionl for a few weeks. I also have rashes on my face which I have to take allergy medicine for a few days before that goes away. The only thing that comes up in my blood work is my uric acid level is 8. My A1C is good at 4.9. All of my problems started when I hurt my knee and stupidly stopped exercise for a few months..along with eating bad food/gaining 6-7 pounds. I think this caused my liver fat to exceed a certain threshold and have had problems ever since. The good news is I'm exercising again and along with the Allopurinol my gout seems under control. I believe the ultimate cure is for us to have our waist circumference half of our height in inches. Right now I'm 38/70 so I need to lose 3 inches, which will take a year or longer.
